Since Gretchen had a glut of nectarines/peaches this year we had to make something with them. So, we made some nectarine jam and nectarine halves in syrup with Ginger.

  • Apparently it is pretty important to process things like Peaches and Nectarines if you put them in syrup. Otherwise you can end up with boozy fruit.

  • Effects with pectin may vary. It is always recommended to follow the instructions on the packaging.
