Episode 34: Nectarine Sticky Stuff

Since Gretchen had a glut of nectarines/peaches this year we had to make something with them. So, we made some nectarine jam and nectarine halves in syrup with Ginger.
Apparently it is pretty important to process things like Peaches and Nectarines if you put them in syrup. Otherwise you can end up with boozy fruit.
Effects with pectin may vary. It is always recommended to follow the instructions on the packaging.
