Deciding to do Ramen for this Repisode took us on a very magical journey to giving us a whole new appreciation for Ramen. This incredibly diverse dish has many variations, based on 4 primary types of broth.

We talk about the Ramen Heads documentary on Hulu. Well worth the watch, but entirely subtitled, so prepare yourself to read.

We also talk over Miso and Noodles. Our topping choices were as follows:

Becca:

  • frozen corn

  • maitake mushrooms

  • bok choy

  • spring onions

  • broccoli

Gretchen:

  • bok choy

  • shiitake mushrooms

  • ramen eggs

  • bacon braised in soy

  • scallions toppings
