Ingredients 

2 cups flour (AP)

0.75 Cups Just Boiled water, cooled for 2 minutes

Neutral oil

1 shallot, fine dice

Sesame Oil

2 scallions, fine chopped

Sea salt

Pepper

Equipment 

Rolling pin

Brush

Frying pan

Basic Steps

  1. Mix the dough in a heatproof bowl.  

  2. Split the dough into 8 pieces.

  3. Roll each piece into a flat disc and brush with the sesame oil. 

  4. Roll into a cylinder then into a cinnamon roll shape and let rest while doing the same to the other pieces of dough.

  5. Roll into a disc again then brush and add aromatics and roll into a cylinder again and then a cinnamon roll.

  6. Allow to rest for a few minutes while heating the pan.

  7. Roll into a flat disk approximately 8 inches across

  8. Brush the pan with oil and fry on both sides until golden crispy.

  9. Serve with sauce or everything oil.
