Ingredients 

Artichokes 

cultured butter

Garlic if We feel like it

Lemons

Special Equipment 

Serrated knife or Very Sharp chef knife

Steamer

High Level Steps 

Clean artichokes - rinse, remove any small leaves near stem base, cut off stem, cut choke in half lengthwise, cut off narrower top of choke, spoon out center fibrous parts, if necessary soak in water with lemon or vinegar 

Steam artichokes for 30-40 minutes 

Melt butter add garlic or whatever
