Marcella’s Italian Kitchen
Ingredients
⅓ C Freshly grated parmesan
1 T Butter, softened to room temperature
1 t chopped fresh basil
¼ pound shelled walnut halves
Steps
Mix together the butter, parmesan and basil until a smooth paste.
Scoop up some of the mixture and smear it on the walnuts, sheathing only ⅔ of the nut. Leave ⅓ uncovered.
Place the coated walnuts on a dish without overlapping them and refrigerate until needed.
